'You must be logged in to download'
'LOL JUST TO ANNOY YOU YOU HAVE TO REGISTER AGAIN TO DOWNLOAD'

And than when I go back to their download section to download the map maker (logged in);
'LOL I LIED THERES NO DOWNLOADS FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU REGISTERED YOU HAVE TO BUY IT LOL'

And than there were the annoying sites that you had to go through around 7 links.
Each link making a new internet explorer aplication (meaning I had 7 little icons at the bottem of my screen'
And than I get that o so lovely
'You must be logged in to download LOL'
So there goes another 5 windows.

So there's my rant.  =]
what sites, what tools and what map maker?..
O.o
mapmaker?
i think he means a trial version of 3ds max or so
Mostly all the tools. Net was actually nice to me.

Collada I believe was the main bitch of them all, which each link would not simply bring you to a new page, but make an entirely new box for that link. For all links. All of them. I had a good 7, or more internet explorer boxes on my screen before I deleted them.

And I'm using Blender, it's apperently the only free one.
3d-studio is the one that told me 'In order to download you be logged in'
And than told me'You have no downloads in this area' or something similier. It was just very annoying. But I was in a rush that day and didn't wish to spend 15 minutes to get 5 programs.
Well those are not exactly the "tools" as they are third party, the tools themself are not available at the moment. I would advise not to try and make something for the hpl engine until(if) the tools are released and the documentation updated unless you are aiming to do something with the tech demo.
