hallo,
i am in the first room and would like to know if there is someway to open the metal box or the cardboard box, and is it even necessary to open those boxes in order to get some items one needs to get out of this room. i have moved the boxes and the crates around and got on the box to get close to the hatch, but i need a tool to open the hatch. all i found so far was the glowlight. can i also open the lock on the first locker.
questions-questions, sorry, but can someone please give me a tip on how to get out of this room. what do i need to do first?
help would greatly be appreciated.

There is a note in one of the lockers with the door code.
And did you say you opened the lock on the locker? Or you can't open it.

i cannot open the first lockerdoor, because i don't exactly know what to do here in the first room.
i have another question, since i am new to this forum. how can i get a small enough avatar and where. i was using the avartarpage, but it tells me it is too large?
You can't open that first locker until later. There is a note in one of the lockers that has the code you need to get the door open.
I don't know what to tell you about your avatar. I just uploaded mine from my computer.
The avatar has to be no larger than 80x80 pixels, and no bigger than 64 kB (I think). If you're having trouble, then you can give the link to the avatar and someone should be able to resize it for you, so the forum allows you to use it.
Also, if you can't see anything in the lockers, use the glowstick you just found. I know I missed a couple of things on the first try before I figured out the [G] hotkey.

now i should be able to continue. i have been playing adventure games for many years, so i normally know what to do, but this first room is a little bit different. i thought i had to open the boxes, i even threw them against the table in order to break them. i did try the glowstick, because thats what i got already.

Did you find the glowstick only? There are some more items inside those lockers, just check em out.

now i can get back to the game tonite and see if i cannot get out of the first room.
read terrible things about the monster, is it very scary????????
