Hello,

Spoiler below!
I have a problem with the TNT, I have the Fuse (Yes, I soaked it with Baxtrine and used it on the gunpowder) and the Zippo lighter with fuel.
I have also put the TNT Barrel in the hole of the caved in tunnel that has to be blown up. Now when I try to use the fuse on the barrel it says "I don't want to risk this thing going off before I'm ready". I've been trying different things for a long time now (repositioning the barrel, reloading an old savegame and replay the whole area), but without succes, and I'm clueless now.

I had the same problem, since I loaded my game after blasting myself to crispy bits of jerky holding smaller bits of jerky...

What you need to do

is go to the office in the beginning of the shaft, where there's that nifty typewriter and all, and get the old key in the desk under the save thing. Next you need to open the chest on the floor in that same room, and get the explosives manual.
That should help. If not, lemme know, or someone will correct the heck outta me soon enough.

that probably is it. and weather it is or not, you will know when the TNT is set right when the game pretty much automatically sets it in place for you.
It makes sense what he is saying, about the explosives manual, indicating you having some knowledge in explosives now.

Did you put the string onto the barrel?
Double click on the finished string
Now with the icon of the string, click on the barrel of explosives.
