This mod will not have any custom models, but will have models from both Episode 1 and Tech Demo.

This mod will have all enemies (possibly excluding the rock worm) from both Episode 1 and Tech Demo. The Demon Man might be included, depending on if I can(unlikely) or other people can finish the animations for him.
The above is likely to change was my experience with modding penumbra becomes better.
This will be my first mod, if I decide to pursue it. Right now I am slowly learning the basics, and I am awaiting ‘The Tools’.
Storyline (Chances of using this are very slim. If I do decide to use it, it will have many revisions and changes.
It is undecided if you start where the story places you, or if you start outside. Right now the story will start inside the first building. This is a very basic outline of my story. As of right now it is quite horrible.
A big granddaddy of hurricanes pelt a small fishing village near the [some country’s coast]. As a independent fisherman, you decide to head to the nearest safe dock area. The dock belongs to an old deserted town, several miles away from [first village]. Several fires had broken out in the deserted town, but were extinguished by the [starting village]’s volunteer fire department. Because of this, few buildings remain (the town is not large) and the only building that looks like it will survive the storm is an old fishing factory.
As winds pick up and the sea becomes more dangerous, you decide to take shelter inside the fishing factory. The building is gutted of all machinery, has occasional graphite, and the doors/windows are either smashed in, vandalized, or completely gone. As you walk through the building look for a dry place (since the windows are mostly broken, rain and water start to slightly flood the floor) you walk through the middle of a hallway (slightly curved downward due to water damage, the water is already flooded in this hallway).
When in the middle of the hallway (where the most water is, due the water caving in) the floor suddenly collapses with little warning. As you hit the ground (very hard and jagged, due to the cement that is now broken) you become unconscious
When you become conscious again, you find yourself in the basement (strange, how a fishing factory has a basement, especially when it’s so close to the ocean) The floor is already flooded from water seeping from the cracks.
Looking around, you notice a small opening on the far wall, easy enough for you to pass through. Desperate to escape the water, and fearing more of the floor from the factory will collapse from water damage, you decide to enter the small tunnel, where water is strangely rushing through.
The tunnel slowly starts to head downward, and you continue to follow it. It’s long and bar, with no slope change. After awhile, the pipe starts to straiten out (so it’s not rushing down anymore) a single ladder offers an escape from the pipe. Due to your fear of the water quickly flooding and trapping you, you decide to move up the ladder.
The ladder leads you up a short ways, into a barren, circular room. The room appears to have no doorway or entrance besides the ladder (where you just came from). Deciding to leave the small room, you hear a sudden large explosion sound (the floor from the fishing factory giving out) and begin to hear a large amount of water rushing down the pipes. You see the water reach the bottom of the pipe (where the ladder starts) and begins to get deeper and deeper, eventually filling the entire pipe up, leaving you stranded in that room until the water evaporates.
While trying to become comfortable in your room, you notice some things you didn’t notice before. One of the sections of walls (this room is circular, more of an oval actually) appear to be dirtier, mustier looking. As it turns out, it’s painted wood to resemble cement.
Pushing on the wood shows it gives in easily, and after a few attempts it falls over, showing a hallway (the oval room is in the center of it, so entering the hallway shows you in the center of the hallway, with 2 directions to go)
The hallway is bar, both ways. At one end however, there appears to be broken cement with metal wires protruding out of it (reinforced cement). Hoping for a way to escape this place, you decide to head [the player can choose what hallway to move to, both are needed in the story]
Upon reaching the one with broken cement showing, you find the ceiling has completely fallen down.
Going the other way (the end without any broken cement) shows you into a medium sized room. Once again, pretty bar. In the corner there is a strange object, shows it as a backpack, with some materials in it (we will call your items and backpack your ‘effects’ ) Using your new found flashlight (rather weak, no glow stick (YAY)) shows another hallway, once again you enter it. It empties into what appears to be a cafeteria (benches placed into the cement ground, and counters along one wall) This time, you hear a sudden noise in the kitchen area, behind the counters(a small explosion sound and slight shriek mixed in, very hard to hear)
When entering the kitchen, you see a tail of something (the roach crawling) quickly leave the room, making strange sounds.) It leaves a blood trail, and at first thought it was a human and hoping to get some questions on how to leave this place, you follow it.
The Roach had entered into a long hallway with several doors on each side. It had apparently entered the first one on the right side. Hallway to the first door on the right side, The Roach suddenly is thrown against the wall on the other side and bounces back slightly (so it’s thrown out of the door, slams into the wall, it than bounces slightly back, so It’s less than a foot in front of the door it first flew out of ) and you see a human like hand (demon man from tech demo) grab The Roach (you only see it’s hand)
The roach tries to crawl away, (you can see it trying to crawl away, making sounds of distress) but it is slowly pulled back into the room. Once you lose sight of it (You are frozen during this) the door suddenly is slammed shut, but open slightly (due to it being slammed too hard) and sounds of the monster being eaten alive is heard.
There are several things you can do now. You can either do
A: Run away back to the first room
B: Run past the room and continue with the game
C: Open the door, doing so will cause the demon man (tech demo) to suddenly start come after you, rather quickly. You will die. This will cause you to end the game (save though is found right after The Roach is dragged into the room)
That’s what I have so far for the story. There wouldn’t be lights, so you would have to use your flashlight (has very long batteries, might never need replacements)
Obviously this story has major grammar errors, and is pretty bad, but serves as a general beginning story plot.
