So after many many hours of studying on HPL and penumbra I have something to show finaly.Sure it is not ready but anyway...

Still, its a work in progress.
Hey, this is good! This really looks awesome! Smile
Keep on the good work! Smile
Looks pretty good, just a quick question;
How do you separate an object (let's say a cube) into 6 different planes? Just the general key term will work.
Thanks for the comments!

WindexGlow:
To seperate a cube or example, in Maya, you go into face component, and then select the face you want seperated.Under "mesh" menu in "polygons" category, select "Extract"

In Max, add the "Edit poly" modifier on the cube.Go into polygon selection, select the polygons you want and then "Extract"

Hope I helped enough
This looks really good! It reminds me of another adventure game i have played, i don't remember what it's name is.

Otherwise, Great job!Big Grin

are we ever going to get to walk around this place for ourselves?

It would be (unless he has more) too much work to put all the stuff into a file with instructions.
-custom textures
-custom resource file
-custom savefile (save file would work, I forgot the name for the file that controls what .dae the game starts off with)
-instructions for installation.

The room isn't that much anyways.
Just noticed this. Awesome Big Grin

Can't wait for something playable.
