I have downloaded this tech demo recently and installed it and played it. The game loads and I was let into the level. But the textures on the floor or walls are totally black even when I am flashing my flashlight onto the black, and the flashlight seems to be like ripping apart and certain textures just won't show. I'm also experiencing crashing when I go to the menu (ESC) from in-game. My mouse stops working and I can barely move the pointer or do anything. My game also crashes when I try to quit so I haven't been able to change my resolution/settings yet. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit with latest updates and my drivers are also up-to-date and installed patch 1.1 for Penumbra. I have an AMD x2 5200+ Dual-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1950 Pro, ASUS M2N-E Motherboard and my computer is not over-heated. I really like this game and hoping that there's a new patch to fix this.

There are no plans to update the tech demo of Penumbra. At the moment we have no plans to update the demo for penumbra: overture but the full game has been updated to fix most of these issues with ATI and Vista combination, unfortunately it also create some new problems with that combo and that is currently looked into.

i have got the same problem with the tech demo and i didnt found a way to fix the problems , ive tested all kinds of settings, man that sucks couse i really wantet to play this as well!
