The link for Fiend website is not working. Could you please put the link for downloading the patch at Fiend's page at Frictional Games? The very patch that is rumored to help against game freeze Thank you!

There's a patch? Wish I could download it too.

As far as I know there are no patches. You might be able to replace the allegro dll with a new one, but not sure that will work.

There was update for Fiend that removed the freezing, but seems that the Fiend's website is down...

That's right, this is the update I am looking for. Any chance the site will be updated?

I found "update.zip" on some German site, and it said that it will take Fiend 1.0 to Fiend 1.0.1 which corrects the freezing

I am in no way affiliated w/ this site. I downloaded Fiend, tried ot play it, it kept locking up, came to this forum, spent an hour on Google, and finally found what looks like the update patch. Please note that if you go to the site itself and try to click the file, it was making Internet Explorer really sluggish for me and wouldn't download, that's why I linked "update.zip" directly above.

I hope this works, I am gonna try it now.

OK the update works! Been playing for 20 min or so... it's very late here.

This game has me on edge... the reviews really were true

I got slaughtered pretty quickly.

The inventory complaints most people had are probably going to be a flaw, but the game feels really eerie, I cant wait to play it tomorrow night

I hope you guys see these posts. I see your posts for the patch were in January... it's June now... I hope you guys still check these boards and get to play this game
