Scene is from a level I was making while bored.
Flashlight is default. There are 2 very large emitting yellow SPOTLIGHTS. However when the flashlight/player owned light is not on, it renders only SPEC texture.
PS: I never noticed how sweet the glass looks, great job!!
When using spotlights, the default color seems to be black and white. Almost as if it's only rendering the "spec" texture.
When using any other source of moveable light (flares, flashlight, glowstick, ect) it becomes normal and working as it should.
When puting away the flashlight/light souce it reverts back to using only 'spec'. Other lighting (that I've tested) does not have this problem.
Using geomitry light sources does have the same effect on the SPotlights as the flashlight does.
Same with pre-made objects having a light source.
Video Card: ATI x1550
Driver Version (not most recent):6.14.0010.6734

Penumbra Black Plague Version: Default (Tried updating overture, and it screwed my mod a bit)
Awhile back I tried using the new drivers, however this caused many problems with 3d-modeling and Penumbra.
I reverted back to this version and the problems ceased to exist.
I've known that Spotlights that aren't tied to objects can be screwy sometimes. But they can be difficult to replicate.
Sometimes (I can't remember the exact textures) when approaching textures, it will suddenly turn "goushily black". Almost in a creepy way. I don't believe this was intended however. I have no pictures of this.
Any extra information needed just ask or PM and I will gladly supply it for a reasonable cost.
Both done at the exact same camera angle.
