why not make it so that the users is able to fly around (or zoom whatever) in the model viewer?
You can, this might not be documented though.

Model viewer:
Left mouse: pan camera
Right mouse: Click and interact with objects
Middle mouse: Zoom camera
1: Shadows on/off
2: Show colliders
3: Reset model to center
4: Flip between different animations
5: Stop the lights from spinning
6: Show bounding box and bones if any.
B: Bloom on/off

Scene Viewer:
A,W,S, D: Move around
Mouse: Look around
1: Shadows on/off
2: Show portals and rooms
3: Show light radius
4: Show colliders
5: Show bounding boxes
6: Show sound collision
7: Show what the game renders for the current view.
B: Bloom on/off
