Well, I have just played this game and I have to say it is quite amazing for a free game. It's the quality of a commercial game...just wow. I was wondering if there are any plans ot make a fully commercial game to actually sell in stores, or just an online store for a smaller price?
This isnt really a full game so I doubt it can be sold as commercial game. But they have said that they maybe will continue the game, then I might consider it becoming a commercial game actually, it's quality is good.
NOO!
Don´t make it commercial. :(
If it is free, it´s better.
Because, when it will be commercial, in Germany the USK will make a test and then....minimum 16+
So I cannot play it. Many other people who played it, cannot play it after a test from the USK, ESRB or other.
Make it free and then it is best.
EDIT:
Think of the costs of a publisher.
Please mae it finish and let it free.
If you want to make it commercial, you can use (but i know no all people will agree) Steam to distribute it. Its pretty easy to download and to buy it. :) Also, fits very well with Valve games (err... in some things, your engine is better)
But please, the engine free, just the games you made with it at low cost. :) Like 10€ or something...
I would be really sad if this game becomes Commercial :( Since this game is so good and has the possibility to modify.(Like Cube/SauerBraten)

Please no Steam (not bashing the poster but I really dont like steam,I've had some VERY bad experiences..). If you're going to make this game commercial, why not make it downloadable and sell it yourselves? That way, (as far as I know) you could charge a price that fit with the time and production/server costs. I would sure prefer this to anything else, beats the heck out of trying to find a game at the mall, and you wouldnt need to pay for media to be printed.
well, i purchased a few games from Steam (and i was a guy who always though i've never will buy anything from internet). Its easy and fast. :) Sorry if you get bad experiences. Did you fixed that? :(
STeam is a relieably system, not a perfect system, but one that works. If I were the developer, I would definetly put it on the list of possible publishers.
Plus the game would be cheaper in that case.
