Q2. Name the things you liked LEAST in the game.

Q3. Name three things you would like to see added to the game.

Q4. Would you buy the game if it was released with ten times more gameplay? Why?

Haven't gotten that far yet, but I thought I'd give you my first impressions after killing my first enemy Toungue

The best part so far is the immersion. Interacting with everything really helps to immerse you, and it's all so realistic and stuff. Sounds are also really good. The puzzles so far seem logical and not too hard.

However, getting used to the physics can be tough at first. I know it sounds silly, but those lockers at the start were hard to open! Toungue
Another example of this is when I met my first enemy. He must've killed me at least 5 times before I finally managed to subdue him. Some kind of tutorial to get used to the physics in the game would be nice.
A few typos here and there in the notes. Proper spelling helps to keep me immersed Toungue
And a map would really help, particularily when you're crawling through the vents. And where's the weapons!?

So, if there's 3 things I'd really like to see added to the game, it's weapons, a map and maybe some kind of tutorial to easily get used to the physics.

Yeah, I think I'd buy this game if it was released with some improvements, more levels and a good ending. Primarily because I enjoy these alternate FPS games where you really need to use your head to survive, like in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Smile

I dont like if it will be so much shooting like in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. The weapons arent so important to me. The physics are great but some places was frustrating because i lost a key item. It felt behind a bottled gas.

1. location and atmosphere
2. dont know
3. map, ugly corpses and more blood.
4. i would buy it if it has a ending

Atmosphere was probably the best aspect of your game. It really immersed you into the world. Also, it was great to figure something out, it made it seem like a great accomplishment.

The learning curve at first was probably one of the downfalls in my opinion, you feel clueless sometimes, and powerless.

Some things you could add.

1. Fix up the learning curve, make less things available to the player at once. The first room was a good example. It let you play with the physics and wouldn't let you advance until you found out how to open doors and read notes. This allowed you to know what to do later on with notes and doors. After the first room everything seemed to have been throw at you and it seemed overwhelming. Maybe guide the player along somehow then set him loose. I know its easier said then done, but its worth a try.

2. For monsters, I would think that you should remove the fast flying critter. It seems like your extremely powerless against the creature and its very fast. Maybe if you removed that and added a slow moving zombie-like walking creature it would be a lot more fun. You would see it inching towards you while you were trying to figure out how to block it out and run from it. As is, the flying critter gives you like 8 or less seconds to block a door or run away, not much thinking time.

3. More Physics!! Although what you have so far is excellent. Its funny that simple things like lever pulling and opening doors can have a much greater immersion effect if done with physics. Maybe a mix of environments would be good too. From what I saw in the demo it seemed like textures were differed yet recycled at the same time.

Yes I would buy this game, if it kept throwing new things at you. Not full price mind you Smile

1. Great ambience (soundtrack, light)
2. Quality of intro voice
3. Weapons (At least a crowbar or a small gun), a map
4. Yes, if there was a linux port :-)

1. The interface, they way you can interact with you surroundings is great adds alot more depth to the game and the atmosphere is great make it very spooky and puts you on edge.
2. The voice in the intro was bad did my head in a bit, was that text to voice you were using?
3. Map, more puzzles and more spooky stuff.
4. I would defiantly buy this game, the level of interaction in the game is amazing adds so much variety and depth which immerses you into the game so much more, which is the way next gen games should be going(like with the Wii).

BTW I don't think you should put weapons in the game like guns, its alot more scary when you don't have much to defend yourself with!

1. The Graphics are great i played Half-Life2 and this game got i think better graphics than Half-Life2 but outside levels in next versions (if a new comes) would be great. Half-Life2 dont have realtime shadows!!!

2. Nothing

3. A Map wich you can find of the areal. Use more objects which have Physics. More Monsters. BUT no weapons please....

4. Yes i would. More levels, more monsters, moere physics and i would buy it!

1. Simple stuff like slowly opening the doors, all that physics stuff.. and this 'grain' and motion blur effects...
2. slow engine? a little bit emptyness... and crazy level layout, which don't seem like anything real usefull to me
3. map... perhaps not, its also fun to write a map by hand
4. yes... if its not full price und has more atmosphere

1.) I liked moving, and graphics (dynamic shadows, motion blur, and sharp textures). I liked the darkness and psyhics very much. Ambient is perfect.
2.) I didn't like, that i was almost defenceless to the flying creature (i had to use 2 dynamites). That there are no weapons. and I didnt like some simple objects. You should add more polygons and details. Details make the game enjoyable and unique.
3.) Main character voices and animations. It would be much beter if you have added some weapons. For example a steel pipe, or a plank, maybe an axe. Or that you could pick up an item and use it for a weapon or self defence. In my opinion that would be the coolest thing in the game. You could add some new monsters and not to much of them.
4.) I would definitely buy it. I love horror adventures.
