Hi guys, really cool game.
I found the broken key, fixed it in the machine room and got back to the locked door at the start, but when I go in, a monster appears and kills me. There seems to be some cool/handy stuff lying around the room which i might need later. So how do I kill the monster? so that I can explore the room.

You can either:
a) Block the door with one of the crates, and use the other to reach the ventilation shaft on the ceiling.
or
b) Run away, get the monster to follow you as far away as possible, then run back to the room and hopefully it won't still be following you. Do the above now.
I guess you *could* kill it, but I haven't tried too hard.

what do i do after opening that room? i have the pass card but the remaining doors to be unlocked require a pass card AND a code and the other just a code, neither the worker or admin note codes work on them. wtf

I just blew the lil hing up with dynamite :P, took afew shots though.
Also, the first one that attacks you near the broken wires, just run back into the room, get it to follow you, and when it goes under the wires, hit the electric switch and watch the lil thng fry :)
I killed it with the dynamite too, took three sticks though.
I tried to fend the thing off with a Chair for a little bit, but it didn't do anything when I smacked it upside the head besides squeak a little. It actually would have been cool if you could kill it or slow it down that way though.
When I ran into the second monster it didn't attack at first. I went into the room with the key and i got the "could have sworn i herd something" cut seen but noting happened. But when I made a noise by the wall i could hear the thing spaz out. Just to check it out I went outside to look at it. It was laying on the ground like it couldn't be arsed to attack me. Then I pissed it off with some dynamite. and ran into the room and baracaded it. The little sob knocked the door off the hinges and then knocked the door out of the way. I then and to scramble to get to the vent. (thank god you can reach it from the ground.)
I should have tried to trap that sonofabitch in a trash can when he was on the ground.

Lucky sob :P took me all 5 of my sticks of dynamite to kill the damn thing :)
