It happened once sometime inbetween the first and second monsters appeared. It quit to the desktop with an error report. Then I tried to load, and the screen was black apart from whatever I had out. My inventory and notes worked fine though. I tried dropping a flare, but it disappeared the second I let go of it. Then I tried dynamite, and the same thing happened. I ended up having to restart the game. Then, sometime after the second monster appeared it happened again. My video card is a Radeon X1900.
hold down crouch while save game is loading :) Might work.
Hey, it worked! I wish there was a way to stop it from quiting though, as it kinda ruins the atmosphere.
EDIT: I have now completed the game/demo/whatever it's called and I loved it! I ran from a monster, then hid behind a door, thinking it couldn't get me. Then, as I was planning to go out past it because what I needed was past it it bashed down the door and scared the hell out of me! Keep up the good work guys!
Yeah, that bug is kinda annoying, no such thing in the full game though :)
