I just made a fix so that the specular should be better on high-end ATI cards. I don't have a card to test this though so I need your help and see if it helps.

Unzip the attached files into core/programs in the penumbra folder.

The fix will be a part of an upcoming patch with some other minor goodies ;)

YES! This fix works great! The white spots are gone and I could swear my performance seems a tad better! Thank you so much!

This made graphics clearer and trimmed up the performances on my ASUS RADEON A9550.

I got the tip from an employee of ATI. Dunno if I would have figured it out without his help. So he should get some credit :)
