I recently heard about this game from a forum I frequent. I downloaded the game yesterday. When I tried to run the game today, the game crashed. I could not even see the intro. I read a few posts here, and think that it might be my computer does not meet the system requirement, but I do not know that for sure. Here is the content of hpl.log file:

My computer specs are:
Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHz, 1GB DDR-SDRAM, NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model64 (32MB VGA RAM), running Win2K SP4

So, is it way too low to meet the system requirement?
I am afraid you do not meet system requirements.

The upcoming patch might fix this.

Nate

rabadi, the only thing holding your system back from this game and a plethora of others like it (graphics wise) is your dated TNT2 graphics card. If a graphics card upgrade is possible, (I believe you can get a good one for under 125$) you should consider it... not just for this game but for all your gaming needs.

rabadi

Yes, the graphic card is quite outdated. Sadly, I don't think upgrade is possible, at least not until end of this year. Anyway, I'll keep this game and cross my fingers that someday I will be able to play it after upgrading the computer. Thanks! Oh and I'll look forward to the patch too.
