lag in level editor?

i am having a sick amount of lag in the level editor, too much lag for me to be able to work with it. in the beginning i through it had something to do with the size of the maps, but it turned out it lagged like hell, on very small maps too... anyone got an idea what might cause it?

I have that when I try to use decals on some small objects...

i think you should know, that this happened out of nothing, i,d been working with the level editor for 3-4 months without problems, and then all of a sudden, the lag is there... and, it happened shortly after i changed the resolution to ALOT higher, from 680 to 1400 or something like that, because i got myself an updated gaphics card (dont know what its called in english, i,m a dane ) so, i tried to change back to my old, crappy resolution, but the lag was still there...

Try updating the drivers for your graphics card.
