Penumbra Idea Map Editor

Hi im just wondering Will there ever be a penumbra map editor like amnesia because it would be great to have some source to make mods and custom maps for the game itself.
it would be good if it was a simple editor not something hard like super programming and all that but it would be great if you added a map editor to the game.It would be seperate from the game folder though.you should be able to download on the penumbra site.Thanks for reading and please reply!!!

The Penumbra maps were made using Maya and exporting as .dae files. So a level editor does not excist.

thats a shame if penumbra doesent continue to have a map editor woulden't it eventually die out???along with amnesia for the gltiches(maybe not amnesia but seriously i cant get files to showup in my custom story in the game

The developers are working on the next engine, HPL3. Why would they work again with HPL1? Noone goes backwards...

For your custom story problem you should open a new thread at the correct subforum and we can help you there.

Why would they care about penumbra anymore ? They already did amnesia and are working on a new game, penumbra is history now.
