help with amnesia: The Dark Descent
cant get amnesia to work, when i tried to play it crashed and a error box, called blackbox, popped up. i forgot what it said exactly, and it wont let me see it again. when i try to run it now it gives an option to send or not send an error report.

heres my hpl.log

hopefully its nothing with the hardware, but would make sense.
my gaming computer crashed and trying to play this on my room-mates which isnt that great.

was hoping i can just turn the settings down and play, seeing as this computer can run
call of Cthulhu, penumbra, and such flawlessly.

any help would be great, i really wanna play this game.
i tried a demo on onlive, and it was amazing.

You need to update your graphic drivers, but I don't think that would help since it's GeForce 6150, which is a very old card; and it's unlikely that it would support OpenGL 2.1 as it shows that it supports 2.0.3

RE: help with amnesia: The Dark Descent
well after installing the drivers the game actually opend up and ran, i was pretty happy.
but the game runs to slow to play, even on the lowest settings.

which i find weird, just cause the website, http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/.
says i meet the min. requirements to play and it hasnt been wrong about a game yet.

and the game on the lowest settings looks pretty bad, looks just like penumbra and this computer runs that fine. so im confused as to why it cant run it smoothly looking that bad.

not that penumbra looks shitty, i love it. just a comparing it

Well, you know, CYRI is not official. Glad you liked Penumbra though.
