Crashing as it starts up.

I continue to get a very strange error as the game starts up. I bought Amniesa over gamestop and wanted to play badly so when I DLed it and attempted to start it I got this message
Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module Amneisa.exe at 001B:00000000
I would like to know if its because of my grahpics card or if its a problem with the program itself. :> Really want to play it.
