3DS Max to HPL2 Units setup.
So lads and girls, I've got a problem. Exporting DAE files from 3D's max 2012 64 bit seems to have issues with the collada exporter. Whatever I export comes out HUGE within the HPL engine. But once opened in max/maya it looks just fine again. Also there is the problem of Z being used as up in Max instead of Y.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to actually fix this? I can't seem to find anything about it.

Thanks in advance // Traggey

I have that issue too, on 3ds Max 2011 and 2012, the model is gigantic in-game. I hope someone will help us.

Just put the model into the Model Editor and scale it down to what you like, and save... Otherwise, I believe the huge entities in the editors and in game without scaling it down in Model Editor, IS a known problem.

I've come to learn to not fear the living, nor the dead... But the monsters that hide in closets.

How to extract my monster into HPL2?
What software?
Thanks! Big Grin
