can't even get started

got as far as the hatch in the snow...beat the crap out of it with a rock....pushed, pulled ,twisted the wheel this way and that....gone off for a walk in the snow to calm down, come back, beat it up some more....man...I just can't get in there...am I missing something ?

once you rotated the wheel, you have to move your mouse up, or move forward some; or even both. clicking alone won't do anything. it's just like turning the wheel, you have to use those realistic movements.
