Missing textures

I had no problems with this game until I got to the part where you're in a cave with those spiders, the one where the bolder comes after you. Inside that cave, after a while the textures are missing. All the objects have textures, but the map does not. If a patch fixes this, I'm sorry about posting this.

Hmmm, could you post the HPL log, and a screenshot? (Along with system specs)
When an object can't find a texture, it doesn't appear; it just won't render.

Maybe a simple reinstall could fix your problem.
Sometimes, files just get damaged, it can have numerous reasons.

I am having a similar problem, though of a slightly different nature. I patched to 1.02, I tried disabling A.I. for my Radeon card, but many textures are missing. Mine don't simply drop off; instead, things are only half-textured at time, increasing in frequency greatly up until they basically all disappeared at the point the original topic starter had his problems.

I am using a Radeon 3850 card on my computer; unfortunately, it appears I cannot upload pictures at the moment, but I will when I can.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Yes, I am using an ATI Radeon HD card.

I am afraid there are some issues with HD cards that have not yet been solved.
