Penumbra Overture White Screen problem!

I have bought the Penumbra collection on Steam and I installed the games and when I start Penumbra Overture the game is all white! I have seen people with the same problem but what they tried that fixed the problem have aint worked for me. I am playing in 1920x1080 and I have tried reduce the graphics but and when I get a picture the game looks really ugly. I don't really want to change the resolution so any idea how to solve this problem anyone?

you have Intel HD graphics card which is not supported due to bad Intel drivers. In order for the game to be more playable untick the Post Effects graphics option.

I have the same original problem, and yes, unchecking that DID let me see everything, but it's extremely ugly. And why aren't Intel drivers supported? I can run Amnesia just fine with everything at the highest levels...

blame Intel for that, we cannot do anything about it. Their opengl support sucks...

I have the same problem but with a nvidia video card( GeForce GT540M )

I have the same gpu at my laptop and there is no such problem. Make sure your drivers are updated I guess. Or the game is running with the Intel HD card in case you have Optimus but that does not happen with nvidia

were do you find the Intel HD Graphics

That's a graphics card within your laptop (if that's the case).

But you definitely don't want that, unless you want dumbed down performance. Go for a GeForce card.
