Launching Amnesia Window/Fullscreen

Amnesia The Dark Descent will launch in Fullscreen successfully, but if I leave the option to leave 'Fullscreen' unchecked, the game will not launch & it gives me the error 'Amensia.exe has stopped working.'

Anyway I can fix this problem so I can play in Windows size? This is my 1st horror game & not too fond of scary movies either xD

Try running the game as administrator. Does that work?

Never mind xD
I give up on the game to work on my laptop, the game got super lag when I entered the Wine Cellar so I think I'll just play it on my brother's laptop instead ^^
