Last Easter (Custom Story)

remember the last night; it was full filled with drinks and drugs.

Do not panic!

In this custom story you will have shocking moments, a strange story and about half an hour fear in your mind! This is my very first custom story I´ve ever made, so if there is anything not correct, please tell me via PN or a post!

Ok, I tried to play it, but... dude.

I couldn't finish it because it didn't have any kind of atmosphere or original puzzle, only keys. Plus, there wasn't any music or special sound. Plus, the lighting was very poor, there wasn't any special light, a lot of them were made by the own lamp entities.
At the beggining, you start facing a clipping texture in the floor.

I couldn't finish it because it was boring as hell, so I would give it a 2/10 (because of the making levels, scripting a few keys and because at last having a .lang file).

You didn't catch my attention. If you wish to do it, be original and spend a lot of time more on your mapping.

I´m sorry it was not so good, but it is the very first map I´ve ever made and I have taught myself everything.
I will continue to work on my mapping and scripting (but on an other map), I have planed something but not every script and info I need is in the wiki. So, can anyone help me?
PS: It took me really 30 hours to make it.

If you want to make a good story, 30 hours is WAY to little. It tells us right off the bat that there is minimal design or effort put into it. Many worth-while custom stories take months to create. Take your time.

Hi, i played your custom story, good for a first time i think.

But so much graphics bugs and too much door o-o
Teleport for enter in the house was a good idea but i've been lucky to found it, how should i know i can enter in the house? I gave up at the "Monster-land" level, so laggy u put too much monster dude.

The map is good ^^ but the story is boring and note's translation aren't good.. i didn't understand the scenario ^^'

I don't understand how someone can list off a ton of reasons why something is broken, poor quality, or in some cases unplayable and still label it as good. That's like someone saying "I got in a car crash today and someone barfed in my lap at work, but I still had a pretty good day ".

It's meant to judge something on it's own merits. If someone who's never seen a pencil in his life hands you his first drawing, you wouldn't say it sucks either... Instead, you'd tell him what he did wrong, but also say something good about it, so he may continue to improve his skills without being demotivated. Same thing with people's first custom story... But yeah, maybe people sugarcoat a bit too much sometimes.
