[Ubuntu lucid x86_64]Hardware audio
Hello!
So there's my problem: every time I restart after having activated "hardware audio" in the game sound settings, this setting go back to off.
So my question is: how to fix this?

One other little thing: is the latest patch already applied to the complete collection pack (bought, downloaded and installed yesterday)?

Hardware audio is Windows only, so the option is there in Mac/Linux but it does not work.

The collection is already up-to-date so no need to patch!

I can't recall! If you turn it on it should be most noticeable if you throw things around while in a ventilation system. It should be very different compared to when having it off.

Tested, and i really can't say. Confused
There's no reason that EFX won't work: alsoft allow some effects (echo, reverb and EAX reverb says alsoft-conf).
Maybe i didn't have the ear to hear the difference Smile.

Thanks you Smile
