Hello everybody, need help for sidux
Hello,
I installed "Penumbra: Overture Demo" but it crashes right instantly in the first room.
I get a totally black screen with no way to manage it.
Restarting the game with lower graphical settings, makes the screen visible but still not usable.
Here's my hpl.log file:

Yes, this is the output of "lspci | grep VGA":
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
.

Unfortunately the Intel cards are not supported, so the game can not run on that machine..

What a pity! Undecided
I will have to try it on my PC, then (I'm on the netbook...).

I would like just to know why they're not supported and will be in the future?

Intel GMA 950 and older cards, maybe some newer less powerful too, do not work due to the lack of proper shader support. GMA X3100 and newer should work, but we do not actively support it.

These cards will not work in the future, they are not powerful enough to give a pleasant experience with the games.
