Demo not working correctly

I just bought the game.

I'm also getting the "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION ERROR in module Amnesia.exe at 001B:00000000". I tried to delete the files as recommended above and had no luck with that. Even on the lowest settings I get this same error.

I have a ATI Radeon HD 2600 graphics card on my laptop.

Hopefully a patch or some helpful advice will do the trick.

Tried installing drivers in windows. It should work now, but in the meantime I found it works great in linux, so cheers to that.

Just wanted to say I have the same problem as the OP, in both the demo and the full game. I have a X1300PRO. I don't regret paying to support you guys, but I'd also like to play the game someday, too!
