Penumbra Overture Could not set displaymode

Hello, I can play penumbra overture on 640x480 - 1024x768 more is not working on my pc:

AMD 5000+x2
2gb ram
Radeon 4830

I install newest openal, i disabling gameoverlay from Steam(this penumbra from steam). And nothing ;/ Any soultions ?

But on 1680x1050 the window of game is moving to right-down corner.

Might be that Penumbra: Overture doesn't support your resolution.
However, you can go to the games folder and find file called settings.cfg and open it into notepad and then set the resolution you want manually.

In this case, it would be:
Screen Width="1680" Height="1050"

Also, make sure that you check the fullscreen from there!
If it says FullScreen="false", set it to FullScreen="true".
Save the file and run the game.

No, you can't change it in menu over 1280x1024.
Higher resolutions can only be made by editing the settings.cfg file.

But if you edit the file from the game folder, you have to delete this file from your documents folder. Otherwise the resolution will no take effect.

Yes, I can change resoultion in menu over 1280x1024 -.- I have steam version of Penumbra Overture and i can change... I install new drivers and working good.
