Game freezing randomly

I just bought Amnesia: The Dark Descent from Steam. At first gameplay, the game worked smoothly for about half an hour, then randomly froze. Only the image froze, sounds were still there. Absolutely nothing responded, including ctrl+alt+del, so I had to reboot my computer once this happened. When I try to play it again, it freezes randomly after about 5 minutes of gameplay, without an exception. There's no particular spot where it freezes, each time it freezes at different place. I tried everything from the trouble shoot, and nothing seems to work.

Anyone experienced this before, and more important, does someone know the solution for this?

Btw I run Windows XP.
