i am planning to get my boyfriend this game. but i want to make sure if this will work well on his laptop!

btw, do you need internet connection to play this game? can you play offline? and does this require disk to play? i mean, have to insert disk everytime you play?(like the sims)

It should work fine, I have a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5780 and it runs like butter.

No internet connection needed and no you should not need to have the disk in order to play, I have not tested the final retail, but don't think they have added anything like that.
