Yes I did download it into the Applications folder, but it just gives me the issue I started this topic with. Hopefully the patch Urkle has been talking about will help if not anything else! ; <;

Grah, that's a downer. Oh well, best of luck to those working on it, and I hope a solution is found soon! In the mean time guess my LP is on official hiatus. More time for fan art I suppose, doop doop~

Okay so using the method Jens said to use in the other 'config' problem thread by renaming the Frictional folder in the Library>Application Support area, my game is working perfectly! Albeit I did have to start from the very beginning, but that's not much of a problems since my second run had ended in the Wine Cellar so that didn't take too long get back to.

Thanks again for your help and patience, I'm so glad to be able to play Amnesia again! <3

You should be able to copy over the saved games from the "renamed" folder over.

Developing away on one of
Mac Pro Dual 2Ghz, 7GB RAM, Snow Leopard, nVidia 8800 512MB.
Linux, 3-core AMD, 4GB RAM, Fedora 16, nVidia 450 1GB

Ah, I didn't think of that, but I guess it doesn't matter now, now that I'm where I ended my last game play. Thanks again!
