Help with the worm

How do I slow down the worm that's chasing me? I keep closing the gates but it breaks through and by the time I get to the last door to open i only get it open about 1/8th before I die..

at the end there's rather -shaky- beam, it looks like it could collapse at any time, maybe you should help it along

At the very end of the second worm encounter there's a room with a door covered by a metal sheet, a valve, and a damaged wooden support beam in the center. To stop the worm...

Break down the beam with your pickaxe.

Hmmm... is this the same worm? The worm is chasing me and I have to jump through the acid pool. Which plank do I hit exactly? I only have like 10 seconds before the worm chomps me for breakfast :<



Figured it out... was so scared of the worm forgot to close the doors lolz
