Amnesia fail to run

So i try to run the game right after i log on but as the screen goes black and my mouse shows up i get this pop up called the "BlackBox" and in the blackbox it says, "Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module Amnesia.exe at 0023:0056A1A3" and i have no clue how to fix this. I went to the Can you run it website and it says that my computer can without a doubt and was wondering how i can fix it.
