Crashing at a sound byte in the Morgue

Well, my games seems to be crashing every time I reach a certain point in the morgue where Alexander starts talking to the character. There isn't an error message, the game just closes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Steam has been updating the game, I believe it was last updated about a week ago.

Maybe that's it. Try loading a previous save file before entering the morgue for the first time.
