RE: Unbirth - Envy the Dead {FCM}{TBA}
Guys, I found a model with works with blender but I'm having trouble making the editor see it after extracting it. I followed the guide in wiki but it doesn't seem to help. How can I convert this model to .dae collada file successfully? Any ideas?

Look at that. I converted a ready tv model to collada 1.4 though blender but it seems that the texture is invisible in the editor. In order to see it I have to select it. What have I done wrong(wiki doesn't help)?

RE: tank in amnesia
according to your PM, i geuss this is the TV you where talking about? xD

so it is a ready TV model, whith texture? if it has a texture it has to have a texture file. like jpg as you mentioned. just make the .mat file so the model editor can read it and apply it to the model.
uvmapping should be done, if the texture was good in Blender Tongue

hope this helps a bit Tongue

@ nkmol: Your pms are full. I could not send you my answer. You have to empty them.

@ nkmol & hakkomielteinen: It is textured. It is just a .blend file without any jpg files o external textures. This is how it looks in blender:
