Sinking wolves.
Sorry if this has been posted before, I did have a look through but couldn't see anything related.

While fighting a wolf in one of the tunnels (Apologies I can't recall which one. Iron Mine A or B I think) I smacked one on the nose with the pick axe and rather than normally fall to the floor it sunk down into the ground. It may have been due to the area of ground where it fell had some metal grilles on it with some gfx below and it sunk down to the lower level.
This only happened once though and I forgot to grab a screen.

My current set up is:
Pentium 4 3Ghz
Radeon X1800XT 512Mb (Latest CAT drivers)
Windows XP SP 2

RE: Sinking wolves.
Funny, I had this problem as well.
"Problem" perhaps is too much of an exaggeration perhaps, but it looked funny. They sank down into the floor and then ran off as usual. Probably a bug.
BTW, I have X1900XT with the latest catalyst drivers. (Perhaps ATi bug?)

Same. Whenever the wolf is alive, and you hit it with the pick axe (maybe other weapons, too, but I do not know for sure), maybe half the time it "sinks" into the ground, becoming temporarily invisible...minor thing, too, but it only happens when it is alive, the corpse has never had the same issue...

You can't kill me if I kill me first!!

The only thing I noticed was that the wolves looked really buggy when they get up after being stunned. they kind of sink half through the ground and hover around into place before snapping back in place.

Well they sink with me too. Just bug. Smile I hope that developers repair that bug! Smile
But it was pretty funny looking when one of the dogs just roll over under the ground. Big Grin
