I thought i'd share my first story, i made it a while back and ive learnt a bit more since then, but its quite fun and hopefully is a bit scary.

well, now works.

so i"m stuck: just found metal key, and seems its USELESS! cant imagine where to use it.
i have only one locked door, at start area, where"s lantern is, so there "s locked door - not opens with that key!
is that Bug, or what????

ok, that key is not useless, it is needed for later, it seemes you have missed out a key somewhere

there is a key in the red torture room, and a key in the bedroom.
obviously there are more keys but these two are particularly missable

that both keys used for other doors, and now stay only one metal key.

So did you get the one in the bedroom?? it is quite hard to see, if you still need help ill just tell you, my next story im making(almost finished it) has proper puzzles, not 'find key pick it up, use key repeat style puzzles', so hopefully it wont be quite so difficult
