black screen

I just got a new computer and now when i start up the game it still loads fine but i can only see the text like the title screen and options or the text you get when playing the game everything else is just a black sound works fine to just the graphics don't. it worked fine on my older crappy computer but not on this one. need help really wanna play this game

Did you install any driver? Also, posting your hpl.log under Documents/Amnesia/Main

Sounds like you have an integrated graphics chip from intel, go to downloadcenter.intel.com and download new drivers for your chip model.

Attach us here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder. If you have an Intel HD card then we can help you. All the other Intel cards are useless.

I'm having the same problem. Game worked great on my old computer but not on this new one. I followed the advice already given. But when I went to install new drivers from intel, a message popped up telling me I already had installed the newer versions of the driver. So... what now?

Could be that the new computer does not meet the requierments. Check what graphics chip it has and what the requierments are for Amnesia.

thanks the new driver fixed the problem!!
