Penumbra overture black screen after first cutscene

Penumbra overture black screen after first cutscene
Hi =3 I have a issue, when i passing first cutscene in the Penumbra Overture, the black screen is appearing with audio
My PC specs
AMD Athlon XP 1500+ (1250Mhz)
ATI Radeon 9550 Gaming Edition
1Gb DDR RAM
HDD 40 Gb IDE
Sound card - integrated AC'97
all drivers are up to date including redistributables like .NET, C++, XNA,DirectX
Windows XP SP2

Make sure you are running 1.1 http://support.frictionalgames.com/entry/95/ and see if that helps.

Re-check so that your drivers for the graphics card really is up-to-date. Uninstall the current driver, then reboot and install the new driver, then reboot and play the game.

reinstalled OS and drivers week ago, they are really up to date

You might have to use an alternative driver or an older driver version then.

already used a older version of driver and Omega driver, don't work
Omega driver is a best alternative driver for ATI, this even has been proved by ATI developers

Perhaps the game installation is corrupt or a 9550 is not capable of running the game.

Post the hpl.log from My Documents/PenumbraOverture/Episode1/ (or something similar)
