Level Editor Brightness Issue
Whenever I use the level editor, everything is brighter when I'm not focused on the level editor window itself. If I close the editor, the issue stays. Everything is much brighter until I focus on the level editor window again.

It is quite annoying, anybody got a solution/idea for it?

RE: Level Editor Brightness Issue
Close the Ambient Light and Global Point light from A and P at the bottom of the editor.

RE: Level Editor Brightness Issue
The issue is not in the level editor itself, but rather it causes issues everywhere else. For example, any site which may have a gray background would after running the level editor be almost white.

have you updated your graphics card drivers? Maybe they are old...

They were updated quite recently, but maybe there is a new update out. I'll check. I fixed the problem by using f.lux and then disabling it. It only works after the fact though so it's no permanent fix. I'll look at drivers.

I don't understand what you did to fix it. Can you explain it? It might help people with the same issue in the future.

I used f.lux - http://stereopsis.com/flux/ - it's a program that darkens your screen when the sun is down so that the screen isn't so bright. I enabled it, thus darkening the screen, and then disabled it. That way I was back to before using the level editor.

It didn't cause the problem as I didn't even have it installed, just fixed it Wink

RE: Level Editor Brightness Issue
ah, ok. So it may be something else. Probably this has to do with drivers and stuff or monitor settings. No way an outsider would know.
