Try Windows XP compatibility and run the game as administrator. Can you test if penumbra demos are working? Or even Amnesia demo. Maybe it is because of OpenGL.

Yea, maybe there is some conflict between nVidia's drivers and the OpenGL used in the game.

If it is OpenGL maybe your card does not support OpenGL 2.1

You're not serious, right? The card supports OpenGL 2.1 just fine.

Maybe it is an issue with nVidia's drivers, the game worked perfectly a dozen months ago using older drivers (that is the only thing that has changed to the system, apart from the usual WUs).

First of all I'm always serious and I'm trying to help you. I cannot know what OpenGL version every card supports, it is impossible. Try an older driver then, the one that previously worked.

I'll wait a while for nVidia to release a newer driver, maybe they screwed up something with their current release.

I dont think so. The latest driver 275.33 is very good. I don't know about 9 series cards.
