RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - Statyk - 04-26-2013 Here's a digital watch model I made for an indie project with Arvuti. Model: Me Texture: Arvuti Spoiler below!
Rendered in Maya 2011 Mental Ray RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - Traggey - 04-29-2013 Update! RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - darkely - 04-29-2013 Here are some trial and error screenshots of me trying to adapt a model of a plushie for a different weapon... What you see above (in the last two images) is TF2 a result of me forgetting to set the model in the proper position and me forgetting to give the game a path to the material... _____________ (04-29-2013, 09:01 PM)Traggey Wrote: Update! This is supposed to be Duke Nukem right? RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - Rapture - 04-29-2013 I don't know the TF2 modeling polygon rules, but isn't that pony's "tris" a bit to high? I know it's up in your face, but it looks like it could easy reach 4k+ their (Then again I'm terrible at making guesses). Unless you haven't done a Retopology on it yet. This is an adaption of another users work (link) so I may need to do some poly optimization (I think that's the term for it). A friend on Game Banana helped me out a lot and so far I have this... Fluttershy.blend (click to view in 3D) The main issue I have to deal with now is to actually get the game to find and load the textures for the plushie doll. RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - Traggey - 04-29-2013 That is Duke Nukem indeed. I don't feel like strolling through 60+ pages of work so I'll just ask: is this for practice or some project? RE: Modeling/Art non-related to Amnesia - darkely - 04-30-2013 Anyway I and my friend are back to working on the adaption of the Fluttershy plushie for the Quick Fix. For those who are not familiar with TF2... This is the Kritzkrieg (with a Fluttershy plushie sitting on top of it): I'm trying to adapt it for the Quick Fix which is a different type of medigun (basically it heals teammates). Here is the Quick Fix... My goal: put the Fluttershy plushie on top of it (which is proving to be a much bigger pain in the butt than anticipated) and possibly do some poly optimization (which could also help fix some lighting issues on the plushie doll). |
