Jens, does your words mean, that if someone haven't even heard about Overture before and starts with Black Plague, the whole story that they start to learn with Black Plague will end in good way? Or do they still have to play Overture that they get the point from story?

Wow, this is very surprising to me and caught me off guard! It's been a long time since I've been to the forums so I've missed out on a lot.

Anyway, it sucks to hear that penumbra had to be cut short. I can't help but think what kind of compromises will have to be made with the story in order to keep with the sudden change. Look on the bright side though; this gives the devs an opportunity to make the game longer if it is allowed. Hopefully twice as long as the first. The longer the better. That would certainly make up for the lack or a third episode.

Although this is sad news, I'm still greatly looking forward to the next episode.

Yeah, I was sad to learn that there only making 2 and not 3, but look on the bright side! That means we get to find out what the story behind this is sooner!

Heh, they're going to leave the game at a cliff hanger. Trust me.

The last door, which will answer yoru questions on what's going down here, is your father alive, and if you can make it out will end suddenly, 3 feet from the door when the hallway caves in. Mark my words!

Anyway, Frictional games might want to look into this.

Might be good publicity!

Damn. Sad Nothing new come up in few months...

By the way, some well-made videos could be a good thing to add to Black Plague. It would create the game even more immersive. I always thought the intro video in Overture was like from the last century.

E: Oh, there was something. Should have checked the general forum first. :p Cool stuff.

I actually liked the way how the intro was presented in Overture. However, they should really get rid of those ugly bitmap fonts and replace them with smoother TrueType variants.

All the things that happens in Black Plague, does the game explain us wich happens to who, what does everything mean etc.?

So that after we've played Black Plague, we do not have straight five questions to ask like we did in Overture...
