Was Godzilla supposed to appear intimidating? Throughout the whole movie I found the reptile quite kawaii, especially the way he breathes blue flame. Why can't league champions do that.
The movie itself though was probably too long. The focus on military force rescuing pathetic civilians from some potential nuclear mess in every action movie is just so cliché.

Yeah, almost nothing made sense in this movie. The characters were feeling goddamn numb, without any charisma and stuff, protagonist was a typical badass guy (how many times ive seen this...) and the only one good part of the movie were short scenes with godzilla.
