Hey Frictional.
I love your guy's work and I absolutely love Amnesia. I've played it a lot and had many friends play it on my desktop computer which is running windows vista 32 bit edition with an nvidia geforce 8800 gtx graphics card and an intel quad core processor. I've never had an issue running this game until about a week ago. Now whenever I try to boot up the game from steam, the credit splashes roll like usual, but once the save selection screen appears, my entire computer shuts down.
I've never experienced an issue like this before and I don't really know what to do. Help please.
I've tried booting several other games from steam and they've all worked fine, so I know it's not a steam issue.
