I'm in the second map, I jump onto the desk and get the note with the poem in it, but it's literally IMPOSSIBLE for me to reach the nest platform with the book. I just keep jumping and missing over and over, and then I land directly below everything and either end up running off the map or re-loading a save.

I did, grabbed the lantern and the oil, lit up the lantern, tried everything with the lantern I could think of and nothing else happens.

When you grab lantern, chain must appear. Once it appears u need jump top of chain and run with shift as end of chain and possible, then jump.

To those who have this error:

I really have no idea whats wrong Sad. It works perfectly to so many people and it glitches out for others. Does it happen every time?

I need some info...

Is anyone else getting the same ntdll.dll black box as I am? If so, what platform are you on, how did you buy the game, and what have you tried, and when does it black box?

For myself

Windows
Steam
Verifying and Restarting
When I go down the well area in the 2nd map of the game (with the naked guy climbing up it)

Rock, try to do this:

Go into custom story folder, edit custom_story_settings and replace WHOLE file content with below:

<Main
ImgFile = "interrogation.jpg"
Name = "The Interrogation Chapter 1"
Author = "Elven"

StartMap = "03_Memory_of_Well.map"
StartPos = "PlayerStartArea_1"
/>

Now start the interrogation from scratch and it should load map AFTER the 2nd map. Did it work?

I am happy to say that (I was shocked) The Interrogation Chapter 1 is now in the headlines of Moddb. I am freaking out atm from happiness, never expected this Big Grin. I hope it is worth it Smile.
