Hi, i purchased the game through Amazon, (for the hard copy, just in case. So yes, CD and all)
I have a Sony VAIO, and I have other games on here like The Sims 3 series stuff, and the entire Amnesia game is downloaded, but it closes before anything shows up, and a pop up box shows up and says:
!!!GAME CRASHED!!! READ THIS:
Something is wroooooong!

I've attached a screen grab of the pop up.
what does it mean? Do I need a game card or something? Im not necessarily perfectly computer smart, so if you know how to fix this, please use clear instructions, with no huge, threatening words(:

Probably a driver issue. You should install your graphic drivers first.
Could you send your hpl.log under Documents/Amnesia/Main too?

Yeah! Oh wow, just looked at the little requirements box. Which card would you suggest? An ATI x1000 or a NIVDIEA GeForce 6 series? Im not at home, but I'll send the hpl log when I get home (:

Those cards are pretty old and I don't think they would run Amnesia. I'd say to go for nVidia as I'm a long term ATI user and not happy with it. There are good graphic cards under $100
