skyrim dawnguard dlc - ButteredCrumpets - 08-14-2012

Hi guys

I recently purchased dawnguard for skyrim over steam, it installed and then i started the game. However when i was playing the game, there was nothing from the dlc in the game, i have checked the dlc properties for skyrim and it says that i have it, i dont know whats gone wrong.

Can anyone help

You have to be at least lvl 10 and then you will start hearing rumors about the Dawnguard, and that's how you start the quest line.

I turn this into a Dawnguard discussion if I may? The DLC was really bad to be honest. The story was incredibly cliché and out of place, and the rewards were really unimpressive and the shout you get is completely worthless, I mean another dragon? Really? I'm disappointed.

What you need to do is look on this map http://www.gameshampoo.com/magazine/images/fortdawnguardlocation.jpg and go to the location. (You'll come to a cave by the X which you enter, and end up on the other side).

erm nothing from the dlc appears in the game...

What lvl are you? You need to be at least lvl 10. Also, make sure that the Dawnguard plugin is activated in the datafiles menu in the launcher.

Just go there, mate! Nothing from the game will be shown until you go to that keep. Not even the keep itself will be shown until you've discovered it, just like everything else.

If that doesn't work, then you need to do what the people above suggested. Good luck!
