Even if humans weren't hopelessly curious, this isn't really the best medium to conduct an experiment like this. I would have opened the spoiler no matter what because it was obvious what the point of the thread was. It works much better when the person being tested is under the impression that there are genuine consequences to disobeying. Basically here you are just saying: I double dare you not to click it.
